This product was designed specifically for men on steroids who need to curl the hair on their wigs when they dress up drag. This is the most gigantic curling iron I have ever seen - not recommended for use by the average spaghetti armed girl. I could handle the size of it were it not for a detaching rubber tip. It seems that this rubber tip was probably added to the product later when they realized that the tip of the iron was too hot to touch and doing so was necessary for use of the iron because using it is a 2-hand job. This tip comes off as you twist the iron, which causes the iron to slip out of one hand and leaves the user susceptible to burning. If you can manage an accident-free session of maneuvering it, the iron actually curls the hair nicely. On most occasions, however, you will be explaining why your hair looks so great when you have burns all over your face and your biceps have doubled in size.
