This lotion comes the closest to smelling like real lavender of anything I`ve used (and lavender is my favorite smell in the world). This product moisturizes really well but leaves my hands just a little bit greasy...usually I wipe them off a bit before heading back to my computer. Still, overall a really great lotion!
This is as wonderful as the regular shea L`Occitane hand cream, only a little lighter and more fragranced. It`s perfect for warmer months when your hands aren`t quite as dry, and you are reaching for the floral scents again. L`Occitane`s lavender is by far the most botanical, beautiful, and authentic lavender on the market.
Hands down, the best hand lotion ever! The lavender scent is the most authentic I`ve smelt yet. The lotion itself is divine, and my hands crave it. From now on, nothing else will do. This is the best to put on when on a stinky airplane or you need a scent to take you away from whatever uncomfortable moment you`re in, such as a smelly cab. I guess you can say I use this for my own little oasis.
Love this cream! I love the lavender aroma, it is the closest to the scent of the fresh French lavender I grow. Natural lavendar can be intense, but does fade to a faint hint. I also use the Shea butter line, but I like this hand cream, especially in the evening and before bedtime. It is great anytime I need to breathe deeply and relax.
I`ve tried many hand creams, and this is by far, one of my favorites. I actually love this lavender scent, and find that it is very natural and more true than the lavender scents claimed by many other products. It is a little stronger, but that wears off after a few minutes, leaving a light, refreshing lavender scent on my hands hours after use.
The package said that it is delicately fragranced, but it is really knock you over strong heavy medicine-y smell, with a faint lavender after scent. It almost made my stomach turn the first time. The texture is very nice through.
Outstanding hand cream! Well worth the price, it`s very rich and a little goes a long way. Also love the original version but the Lavender is my favorite. It`s great that Beauty.com is not carrying L`Occitane. What an indulgent treat!
