WE BOUGHT THIS SEAT FOR A DAUGHTERS 2ND BIRTHDAY. SHE WAS OVERWHELMED BEING D0RA AND SHE SO WANTED TO USE THE BIG POTTY; SHE CLIMBED UP HER STEP STOOL AND AS SHE SAT DOWN THE SIDE FOLD OUT PINCHED HER BEHIND AND NOW SHE SAYS THE DORA IS BAD! WE ARE VERY UNHAPPY SHE HAD TO GO THROUGH THAT AND ON HER BIRTHDAY.
Agreed, the seat is a lifesaver! If you have a bigger kid it might not work, but if they sit on it right it is fairly stable and so handy.
This seat was very flimsy and collapsed under my toddler`s weight several times, scaring the heck out of her! (She is 25 pounds)
THis is a wonderful when you consider placing your little one on a public toliet. I put it on sideways and it fits fine for the public toliets. I do not want my little one touching a public toliet--YUCK!!! Well worth having.
I disagree with the others on this. I found this product to be a lifesaver when away from home. It is light, and folds up nice and small. You do have to be careful when using it to make sure that it it doesn`t slip off, but I haven`t found a better way to cover a public toilet seat than this.
This might be folding and convenient, but we put one of these on a regular sized outside toilet (public ones with the U lid) this slipped and clipped my daughter`s inner thigh between the little potty cover and the big seat cover. I`m not sure if she`ll be willing to use the big toilets again.
The seat is not as flimsy as the other reviewer (for the Blue`s Clues seat) states. The biggest problem is that it ONLY fits toilet seats that are perfectly ROUND. The hole area is too small. Best feature is that it`s foldable and portable. Weighs 9.1 ounces.
