I`m in my mid-fifties and use this product because it makes my skin soft and helps with discoloration. I think it must work as an exfoliant, though I haven`t read that. If I don`t use it for a while, my face starts to get a little rough. It only take a couple of days to feel a difference. I also like it because it cleans my skin without drying like soap products. I also only occasionally have acne now.
Product works alright, although it will STAIN your towels and pillowcases.
I have adult acne, and I am still in search for something that will end this irritation. I used Proactiv before and that was the Miracle Drug. But like many others after using it for a while (more than 5 months) I started to break out again. Especially when it started to get expensive, I would stop using it, and I broke out even more, like a dependency. Anyways, I did switch over to Oxy, and I was happy to find that it worked! I used it for a few months (over 5 months again), and somehow it lost its effectiveness, and I`m breaking out again. Not as bad as when you get off Proactiv, but definitely breaking out nonetheless.
