I can`t open my mouth to the max due to TMJ Disorder (jaw joints are disloated/stuck). Flossing has always caused great "headache". Traditional floss and Other floss "appartus" out there would either yank at my teeth or it won`t reach to floss completely. This is BRILLIANT and COMFORTABLE to use. I find myself reaching for it whenever. Flossing is no longer a nightmare thanks to this WONDEFUL gadget!
Before buying this, I had great difficulty flossing my teeth. The floss cut into my fingers and it was hard to get my hands far back enough in my mouth to floss my back teeth. I tried every gadget out there to try to make flossing easier: disposable floss picks, battery operated flossers, Y-shaped floss holders, etc. None worked. So I never flossed. But this simple little gadget works great. I`ve used it for a couple of years and it makes it easy to floss regularly. Now I`m so used to the clean feeling after flossing that if I skip a day I`m bothered by the gunk I can feel between my teeth. It must work pretty well: my dental hygienist tells me my teeth are cleaner than 99% of her patients.
I honestly would not floss if this wasn`t invented. I know you`re supposed to floss, but I never used to floss because with traditional floss you have to practically put your hand in your mouth to reach the back teeth. This is so much better. My 9 year old can use this without my help. There was no way I was flossing when I was 9. This makes it better to teach your children how to floss.
