Like many others who have also rated this balm highly, I have tried every drugstore balm and also many expensive department store ones and this product is so far the best of all of them. As far as I can tell, there`s not even a close second. It`s got a bit of a medicine-y taste, that`s true, and the packaging is a bit inconvenient and it`s somewhat goopy and sticky. But I have no hesitation about giving it a 5-star rating despite these factors, because this stuff does the job better than anything that`s flavored and stick-packaged. Similar to another reviewer, I too keep these all over the house and reach for it often. When the pharmacy is out of stock, I panic. I truly can`t live without this stuff!
I`m always trying new lip balms out for the latest new ingredient, brand, flavor, or tint -- but I always come back to this little Blistex pot. There is no better lip balm for conditioning, softening, and protecting your lips. Leaves them smooth without being sticky or unnatural-feeling. You don`t look like you`re wearing lip gloss -- your lips just look healthier. I keep it on me at all times.
I can`t even remember when I first started using this but it was at least 15 years ago. I have tried countless lip balms, including high-ended department store brands, but nothing compares to this! I always, I mean ALWAYS, have this on, whether by itself or underneath lipstick. Underneath lipstick, it provides a smooth sheen for any color and of course, keeps your lips moisturized. Seriously, I just counted and realized that I have six around the house. I am very picky about skincare products and always use only the best, usually meaning expensive. This balm is the best!
