The original formula was the best thing I have ever found for my very fine, thin hair. My hair was actually growing and had a great texture. Then the formula changed and it is horrible! It`s greasy and makes my hair flat and stringy. I am so disappointed I could cry. I can`t find anything comparable to what this used to be. Whoever it was in the company who thought this stuff should be "improved" should be fired!
Loved the original product. The new product is nothing like the old. Don`t waste your money like I did.
I have super-fine waist-length hair. I have drawers full of expensive products and purchase Kerastase products from Europe not sold in the U.S. That said I am very impressed with this product. It was cheap so I figured why not? Many root lifting products contain alcohol which dries out my fine hair (so did Aveda Hair Potion). Other creams (like Alterna) thicken but weigh down my fine hair. I used a ton of product and rubbed into the roots. It doesn`t give shine (but it`s not dull like the beach hair type products) and it doesn`t become sticky (like many texturizing products). It hasn`t weighed my hair down.
