Egads!! Either I got a really bad batch or somebody is lying about this stuff. I read the reviews that applauded this shampoo and got suckered into paying the [$] (!) for the bottle of "wonder shampoo". First off, there are truths in some of the statements - it does smell (a bit like plastic), it doesn`t lather much (at all) and it is thick (like goo). I have highlights in my hair so I bought the Technicians Color-care shampoo. It has dried out my hair to a frazzle in two washings. This has never happened with any other brand I`ve chosen. So what do I do with the rest of a bottle of[$] shampoo?
I love, love, love this shampoo. Combined with alternating uses of the conditioner and hair mask, my hair feels like silk. I don`t even know what the natural color of my hair is anymore, it is so single processed lowlights, highlights, etc. yet this shampoo makes it feel natural. Husband LOVES to run his fingers through it. Other users feel the scent is heavy. I disagree. To me it smells floral and quite frankly, pink. But once you condition, add styling products and blow dry the scent is gone. Only negative: It is a low lather shampoo and with damaged hair you don`t want the tension that comes with wet hair and low lather. Massage gently.
Too thick, so it isn`t easy to wash all of your hair without using a ton of this stuff. Not good for the price. Also I have long, fine hair, and this feels like it never washes out well. I think it is better to stick with cleaning during shampoo, and conditioning in conditioner, so your hair isn`t left limp and oily so soon from the time washed. I was super happy with the other Fekkai (all 5 star- the gloss cream, and protein RX conditioner), but I will go back to PHYTO SHAMPOO that cleans and doesn`t weigh down, or over dry.
I have to say, I was underwhelmed. I didn`t notice any remarkable difference from any other adequate shampoo. In my opinion, not worth paying over 3 times a quality drugstore shampoo.
This is the best shampoo and conditioner combo I have ever used. I am 31 and have been highlighting my hair since high school and I swear this makes my hair so soft; it looks like my hair has never been colored. It also smells amazing! Its expensive but a little really goes a long way. I swear I`m just reordering now after 8 months and I wash my hair at least every other day.
I love this shampoo. It has transformed my dry, brittle hair, into shiny locks. I used intense hair products from other top of the line brands, but this is by far the best for dry hair.
This shampoo(and conditioner) is really great. I have curly, colored hair and I can`t believe how soft and lush my curls look. Usually, I have to sacrifice one or the other when I`m buying shampoo/conditioner, but not with this. I get the color protection and the light-weight conditioning that leaves me hair extremely soft and glossy, but not weighed down. I took away a star b/c I didn`t feel that it lathered well at all. It seems like my hair had to be dripping, soaking wet in order to get a good amount of lather. Otherwise, the lather doesn`t spread. It was something I had to get used to, but now I realize that it can last longer if I just make sure my hair is dripping when I apply it. Conditioner is great too, a little goes a long way with it. I also use the technician mask about once a week.
I have tried just about every shampoo on the market for color treated hair. I was hesitant to purchase this because it`s so expensive, but I`m so glad I did! I think it smells wonderful, but everyone smells something different. It lathers really well and doesn`t strip my hair. Plus, it protects my color from the UV rays. I can`t say enough good things about this product!
Not what I expected from the other reviews. My hair is color treated with permanent color every month, and this last dye job really did a number on my hair, I don`t know what my colorist did wrong. My hair looks very dry and damaged now. I was hoping this shampoo, and the matching conditioner would help to bring it back to it`s former semi-healthy state, but it didn`t. In fact, when I use the shampoo, as I lather it in, it almost feels like straw, and the shampoo doesn`t feel like it is adding moisture at all. It feels like straw! Instead of this shampoo, I would recommend another one that I bought here at beauty.com for my daughter`s curly/sometimes frizzy hair--L`OCCITANE Aromachology Angelica. I used that one today for the first time and it seemed to instantly repair my hair!!! I love it.
This shampoo has an awesome smell. My hair feels softer, and this shampoo gives it more bounce. Love it!
