Sorry to disagree with you all.. But this razor rules! Its the best one so far. My skin got used to the razor within 3 days. And my shave is really smooth! I will agree that the casing feels a little plastic like.
This is my first Philips/Norelco rotary shaver that I`ve ever used. Anyway it gave me a bit of burn the first couple of days, but I got used to it. I noticed that I need to shave twice a day to keep the stubbles down, with manual razor once was enough, so it doesn`t shave as close. I wish this razor had more power. I bought the Speed XL series because I wanted more cutting surface area for a faster shave, but I end up going over the same area on my face 2 to 4times. My 15 years old Panasonic had more power, and I think did the job in less time. So I don`t think that the Norelco rotary shavers are any better than a straight edge one. I`ll probably buy Panasonic next time because you can shave dry and theres no need for shaving cream, etc. Use it everyday and it`s easy to clean. Although, manual razors still shaves closer.
This razor is garbage! It feels cheap, it sounds underpowered, and it does not shave very well. Maybe the top of the line XL is better, but this one is bad.
