I have been having my hair dyed red for well over a year now and in that time, I have tried nearly all of the conditioners that claim to help hold the red. I have been disappointed time and time again until I tried this one. It is not a color depositing conditioner so while it has a red color to it, it is not meant to color your hair. It does condition very well and it is the only conditioner I have used that really does keep my red hair red longer. The price is good and in this case, you do not necessarily get what you pay for - I have spent a fortune on other products that did nothing to preserve my color. This is inexpensive, lasts forever since so little is needed and maintains color and shine.
I just love this product. I`m in my mid-thirty`s and my natural red hair is fading quite a bit. This conditioner brings it back and does a great job of conditioning.
For me, personally, this product (used with the Radiant Red conditioner) gave me no results whatsoever. After four washes, my red coloring from the salon is almost completely gone. It`s very faded and dull-looking. It`s basically the same result as my regular shampoo. I know red color fades fast anyway, but I don`t think this product does anything special to preserve it.
