My mother used Brylcreem on me since infancy. It made my hair grow like crazy. She then would use it daily to comb my hair. I started out bald and ended up with very long, very thick hair. I attribute that in part to Brylcreem. I used Brylcreem on my daughter`s hair and now on my granddaughter. I love the smell and it works great without being heavy. I would recommend this to everyone.

I love Brylcreem, but I think it`s in a niche market. It works great and smells good, and holds your hair the way you want it all day. I love that it doesn`t dry my hair out, but keeps it relatively moist to the touch, but never looks greasy. I do contest the "little dab" saying though--I usually use multiple little dabs because a little bit doesn`t do a lot for me (but that`s probably because I have a lot of hair). It was very interesting the first time I used Brylcreem, it reminded me of sun screen lotion--the color, texture, smell. But so far, it works great.
