As much as I hoped this product would work, it just doesn`t get rid of shine for me. I have really oily skin, and after washing my face, my nose still has an underlying shine and doesn`t look clean. It doesn`t keep my face any less oily throughout the day either. The scent is good at first, like watermelon, but then there is a medicinal smell. One nice thing about the cleanser is that it seems pretty gentle and won`t over dry.
I am 29, with combination sensitive skin, and most products cause me to break out. I gave up my old cleanser in search of one from a cruelty-free company. I tried this, and I`m thrilled I did. I have been using it for a month now with no breakouts. It feels creamy going on, but washes away clean and leaves my face feeling refreshed and not tight. I wish it was unscented, but the smell is pleasant enough. I highly recommend giving this cleanser a shot, especially if you are prone to breakouts. I am trying out the moisturizer now!
After years of switching from one product to the next looking for something to control acne and shine, I finally found this product and absolutely love it. No more breakouts, no dry skin, and no shine! I can`t believe something works this well, but it does. The smell is very pleasant, not medicinal-smelling like some products, and it rinses easily.
I hate to be the one to do this, but I purchased this product based upon the reviews. It had excellent reviews, and in the summer time my skin gets oily and I break out. I bought this , I used it for about a week, and it broke me out in places I have never even broken out before on my face, ever. It did however, get rid of the shiny skin problem. That is why I gave it 2 stars.
I got a sample of this while shopping at a mall. I needed a new cleanser (Phisoderm, didn`t like it) so I tried it. I haven`t used it for very long (they didn`t give me much as a sample) but combined with the moisturiser it really made my skin velvety soft. I think it controlled some shine, but I have very oily skin and it still gets oily after a while. It does have a scent, reminds me of artificial watermelon which I don`t care for, but after a while it actually turns into a nice smell. I can`t say if it`s controlled acne as I haven`t used it for long, but so far no break outs.
I received a sample of this in my Cosmopolitan magazine this month and I have to say that this is the best facial cleanser I have used. The consistency is great, the smell is great, and my face feels great after I wash it. My face is always greasy no matter what I wash with, but this product left me feeling clean.
