I really love the this line. It smells fantastic, I always get compliments from people who are close to me! My daughter and boyfriend love to snuggle into my super shiny great smelling hair. I don`t shampoo every day and due to the hydrating properties of this shampoo, I only use a little and condition only every other time I shampoo! Terrific! Critics may be using too much product!
Ojon hair shampoo and conditioner has turned my color treated, coarse, very dry, straw-like hair into soft, shiny, healthy looking hair that looks and feels amazing. I have tried expensive hair shampoos and treatments before but none of them managed to work miracles for my hair like Ojon did. I will only use Ojon hair shampoo and conditioner for the rest of my life. I love the smell it is not what some of the reviews tell you. If you wash it our of your hair well just like any other shampoo there will not be any lingering smell.
This is the BEST natural shampoo I have ever used. It is great. A little goes a long way, too.
I got the tiniest sample of this stuff and used it only once with the Ultra Hydrating Conditioner. I`m pretty much sold. My hair is a unique mixture of curl and fuzz. Its VERY fine, VERY dry, colored, bleached and relaxed. PROS: I used the products two days ago and each time I`ve wrapped my hair, pulled it into a ponytail, or just combed through it, I`ve been amazed at how little comes out! It`s soft, full, and strong. I`ve finally found something that makes a difference I can see and feel. CONS: The perfume smell is super strong and I was hoping it would be shiny enough that I wouldn`t have to use oil, grease or glosser but that`s just not the case. It feels great but it doesn`t have the luster of well oiled hair. I didn`t take any stars away because the product does exactly what it says it does. My hair is just not dry and brittle anymore. It`s the exact opposite of that.
Left my dry coarse hair soft. I like the smell. It is not too strong. It is earthy and sexy. I use both shampoo and conditioner.
Purchased this shampoo in 2 oz. size, not happy with product! Left my hair dry and with very little shine. I have used Samy, Redkin, etc. so I know good shampoo; this smells great but does nothing for your hair. I purchased a different conditioning shampoo after my Ojon purchase and moisture results were much better! Save your money!
STRONG SCENT! This made my long, colored, pin-straight fine hair really nice...shine, softness, the whole bit. The trouble is the scent, which I have to say, I am still undecided on. It is definitely not a `shampoo-ey` scent. In perfume terminology it is maybe best described as a `woodsy oriental.` How strong is it? At work, with my hair clipped back in a bun, no less, and on the opposite side of a cubicle, I had a co-worker ask me what perfume I was wearing and it was my hair giving off the scent! Co-worker loved the scent. My boyfriend hated it. What`s more is it took TWO washings with Fekkai Glossing (which in itself is a strongly fragranced shampoo) to get all of the Ojon scent out, but if you like the scent, that is a boon. I am glad I got a trial size so I can mull it over. It`s good stuff, but be sure you really want to smell like that.
I love it!!! I had really high expectations of this line and was not disappointed! My hair is so soft after I my blow dry that I didn`t even use my flat iron. I love the scent as well, I think I am hooked =)
I love Ojon products. This shampoo is extremely gentle and perfect for my long, thin damaged hair. I had a very damaging coloring experience a few months ago and this truly helped my hair gain more strength and shine. I think people who write bad reviews about Ojon products do not use them for long enough.......there are no hair products that work overnight! I have used this shampoo and the Ojon Ultra Hydrating Conditioner for the past two months and my hair is noticeably healthier. They do smell very woodsy and natural, which I prefer to the overpowering scents of other fine haircare lines.
The shampoo is great and melted right into my hair, leaving it soft and silky. However, the SMELL takes getting used to. It`s very heavy and smells musky-woody-coffee-incense like. The strong smell does fade away somewhat, but not enough for me to give the product 5 stars. I love Ojon`s products--they really work! I bought a kit with the treatment, shampoo/conditioner, shine spray, and leave-in conditioning spray. The products all have strong scents, a bit too woody/musky for my taste. However, the products have made a huge difference in the softness and overall appearance of my hair. I am a hair product junkie, and this is the most effective product I have ever used--even better than--gulp--philosophy`s shear splendor or Phyto`s deep conditioning treatment. I only wish Ojon would make a lighter scented product.
