I am a black woman with dry medium coarse hair. I started using this product about two years ago. It has done wonders for my hair. I have no split ends and my hair has grown exponentially since I started using the product. The best compliment came yesterday when I walked out of the beauty salon after having my hair relaxed. A male friend of mine saw me and and told me how healthy my hair looks. I was sold then. I will be using this product for the rest of my life.
This stuff really does stink. I was willing to put up with smell for a good product, but it really does smell like ashtray and coffee grounds. Bleh!!! It doesn`t do much for the hair either. I was expecting some sort of miracle to happen, but it doesn`t change anything about my hair.
This stuff seems to work pretty well but it smells terrible and is super oily. It is basically a grease that you put on your hair. I think I prefer regular hair masks like the one by Joico or Fekkai.
This is the only product that actually works. I use it each time before I shampoo leaving it in for 2 hours & my hair is becoming soft & shiny again.
Seems to be improving the condition of my hair. Ive only used it 3x since Ive gotten it but my hair feels much healthier. Its still breaking a little but not breaking off of my split ends. I love it and would recommend it to anybody!
This is a "love it or hate it" product--I love the smell and people love the scent on me. I`ll comb it through and leave it in all day and everyone I see asks what perfume I`m wearing--but their guesses are usually Obsession or Shalimar so you can use that to gauge your reaction to the scent. I have fine, weak hair that tends to break when dried out. This really improves the condition of my hair and is chemical-free. It can weigh down fine hair if too much residue is left when you wash it out--I lather, let it sit, then comb both shampoo and then conditioner through with a fine-tooth comb and it`s not a problem. I have not been extraordinarily impressed with the other Ojon products, but the original treatment is great.
I have fairly healthy wavy hair that is not too thick. I received a sample of this product, and I had to buy the full size as soon as I used the sample. The treatment left my hair shiny and manageable. I am currently trying to grow out my hair again. I use it once a week and I believe that it is keeping my hair healthy between salon visits.
I have long, coarse, wavy, chemically treated, very dry hair that is dull and frizzy and feels like straw. This product is very greasy and hard to rinse out. It weighed my hair down and made it greasy while leaving my hair as dry as ever. I gave it a second shot leaving it in overnight and the results were no better. Don`t waste your time and money. All the hype is just that, hype.
This is by far the best conditioning treatment I have ever used! My hair is colored and dry and I have used quite a few expensive conditioners to improve it. This one immediately made my hair softer and with continued use repaired much of the damage from constantly coloring. My hair is fine; however this does not weight it down at all. After using it, my hair is noticeably softer and silkier for several days. I love it!
