Insect Repellent as after shave lotion. I do not get any reference to the Vanilla in its name. Great price for Insect repellent though.
I was tempted to give only two stars, but it`s still a decent aftershave. As of my most recent purchase a couple weeks ago, Clubman has changed their formula. I had been using up several bottles I bought a while ago, so this change may have taken place several months prior; I cannot tell. The new bottle lists many more ingredients than the once simple formula of alcohol, water, fragrance, and color. The new neither feels nor smells the same as before, but is still somewhat similar. I definitely prefer the original formula.
I like Clubman`s aftershaves for the perfect balance of cooling/soothing: not too harsh (think `Home Alone`) but not lifeless. As for their scents, it is either love or hate. I have tried several, and poured a couple out after a few uses, but this one is my wife`s absolute favorite of any aftershave I`ve ever used! It doesn`t smell like a bottle of vanilla extract, but it is a little more complex than Clubman`s normal aftershave, which is still my wife`s second choice.
