One of the selling points of this trimmer for me was the LED light. I was hoping that it might make trimming in dark areas more precise but the light doesn`t light the cutting area at all. at best it lights the surrounding area to see where I don`t need to trim and at worse it uses battery power that could be used better elsewhere.
This trimmer worked well until the battery wore out. Then, just like the previous reviewer, we could not get the darn thing open to replace it. A waste of money if you have to throw it away after the first battery wears out! The light is of no advantage whatesoever.
I have had this trimmer for at least two years and I am pleased with its performance for trimming my nose hair. However I am darned if I can find out how to put a new battery in it! I, and my husband have gone over it with a fine tooth comb, and squeezed pushed and prodded every part of this trimmer to no avail! Would someone out there please tell me how to open this trimmer, as it does need new batteries now? I am about to buy another one because I cannot open the first one.
