there are very few quality chewable vitamins available and this has all you need for a balanced supplement
I`ve been using Caltrate 600+D plus minerals calcium supplement for a year now; it`s easy to take and I`ve started my 14 and 15 year old on them since their into sports. Out of all the other calcium tablets I`ve tried this one is the easiest to take. My son uses the same thing but in tablet form and my daughter and myself use the chewable. I highly recommend them
I bought this product not knowing much about calcium supplements, just that I needed one. This product is calcium carbonate which is the most common form of calcium but is not well absorbed by the body. Calcium citrate is the calcium that is the best form for absorption. I found this out by researching online after taking one of these chewables and having horrible stomach pains and gas. The pain lasted all night, and I will never take this supplement again. There are other products, including chewable, with calcium citrate so I will be trying that instead.
