This is such a flattering dress for a slightly pear shaped person. It's probably the only dress that wasn't too big on my bust (38B) and flattering on my big booty. It defined my waist (size 16) and just looked really nice on me.
I bought this dress for the simple small ceremony that I had this last October. I am a plus size girl with hips and this dress is actually really flattering. You certainly need a spandex support garment when you wear this if you have curves. My only issue with the dress was that the beading along the bottom hemline sticks to itself after you sit down. So I and my bridesmaids were consistently picking it apart. But otherwise a wonderfull dress and would reccomned it to anyone wanting to look nice.
I wore this dress at my rehearsal dinner, and I loved it! It was chilly that night, so I also wore the satin bolero jacket in black. It was a cute combo!
I ordered this dress without trying it on or seeing in a store first. I ordered a size 2 and had to have it sized down for me but that's not their fault. It is a beautiful dress. I got TONS of compliments on it, people wanted to know where I got it. I wore it to an indoor wedding in March and used a pashmina with it. I highly recommend it. I had no static problems. Some beads fell off but nothing major. It got it in black.
